Journey to a Dynamic Data Economy
The Human Colossus Foundation introduces key components of a Dynamic Data Economy through a series of blog posts
DDE Presented to Technology Consortium in India
Helsinki, August 16th 2022. As part of the Human Colossus Foundation's rollout of Dynamic Data Economy (DDE) in July, the HCF founders delivered Data Governance and Semantics, a three-part series of talks to the Indian tech community as part of Hasgeek's Privacy Mode initiative, a forum of discussion for understanding the privacy and security needs of the Indian tech ecosystem through guides, research, collaboration, events, and conferences.
HCF speaks @ Jönköping Joint Ontology Workshop
Paul Knowles from the Human Colossus Foundation will present its Decentralised Semantics concept at the Joint Ontology Workshop (JOWO) in Jönköping, Sweden.
Celebrating two years of experimentation
Sometimes solving two complex problems together from an alternative perspective is more manageable than tackling them separately. So, slowly but surely, we are bringing our contribution toward more robust cybersecurity and seamless interoperability through our Dynamic Data Economy vision.
Linux Foundation Public Health introduces the Global COVID Certificate Network to operationalize the Good Health Pass Interoperability Blueprint
After more than a year of pandemic restrictions that resulted in a greater than 70% decline in travel and tourism activity, health status exchange to enable economies and borders to reopen has generated a heated debate at the interface of public health, personal freedom, and economic imperatives.
To provide a collaborative roadmap to address some of the critical interoperability challenges, the Human Colossus Foundation aims to present some technological realities to a broader audience for societal debate courtesy of two seminal press releases.
Thinking of DID? KERI On
In this blog post, we address DIDs security from the viewpoint of KERI (Key Event Receipt Infrastructure), a novel, simple, and improved DKMS (Decentralized Key Management System) solution for digital identifiers. KERI provides a unifying solution to DID document authentication and resolution that will prove invaluable to use cases where security and interoperability are essential (e.g., for global supply chains and humanitarian applications).
Digital Immunization Passport has been selected as one of the brightest data portability projects in Europe
The Human Colossus Foundation joins a select family of innovators contributing to the European effort to build a safer and more efficient digital infrastructure for all. In partnership with OwnYourData, the Austrian-based foundation and creator of the “Semantic Container” concept, our joint proposal was one of 11 selected projects among 182 applicants - a 6% acceptance rate! Funded by NGI, the project team will implement a Proof-of-Concept for the digital equivalent of the World Health Organisation Vaccination Passport (WHO’s Yellow book) with privacy-and-consent-by-design at its core. See the official press release for more information.
